1. A powerful method.

2. A revelation of kingdom mystery. (Vv. 11–13)

  1. To some the kingdom is revealed.

  2. Revelation is a work of grace.

2. Revelation is not based on human work.

(John 6:37, 44; 15:16; Eph. 2:5, 8–9)

  1. To others the kingdom is concealed. (Vv. 14–15)

    1. Hard hearts.

    2. Dull ears.

    3. Blind eyes.

      (Isa. 6:9–10; Eph. 2:1–3; John 5:36–40)

3. A fulfillment of prophetic promises.

(Vv. 16–17, 35) (1 Pet. 1:10–12)

  1. Jesus is the promised King.

  2. Jesus is the hope of salvation.

4. How do kingdom people respond?

  1. Hear and obey.

  2. Amazed by grace.

  3. Surrender all to know the King and His kingdom.

  4. Serve the King by serving others.

  5. Live in hope of His kingdom.
